Alfred Steiner invites his viewers to play a disturbing game of I-Spy in his Frankensteinian illustrations of famous cartoon characters. Mickey Mouse, Yosemite Sam, and Count Chocula are but of a few of the pop culture figures Steiner depicts using sexual organs, animals and everyday objects.

Recently gathering a lot of attention across the internet is Chris aka Simpsons artist who caricatures fictional characters and celebrities. His career was allegedly inspired by watching The Simpsons hence the title. The writings and drawings he publishes on his Facebook page are fascinating, dark, and laughter-inducing (an uncomfortable type of laughter).

Look, we often show photorealism on this site, we know that, we enjoy the skill involved. That said, we passed over Doug Bloodworth's this morning, and thought it was just a well-executed photo of a Spider-Man comic with Oreo cookies strewn on top. No, this is an oil painting, and its really, really well-done.

After 1,669 comic strips for the acclaimed Life In Hell, Matt Groening is putting down his pen. At its height the comic strip was in hundreds of newspapers, but in recent years as papers cut back budgets and circulation, the strip is now in just 40 papers. The last strip was published on June 15, 2012.

Switch and Diplo's Major Lazer project is as much about visuals as it is about the music, and their newest music video, "Get Free," featuring vocals from the Dirty Projectors Amber Coffman is another gem. Cartoon video, a pretty catchy tune, good work from Major Lazer once again.

It has been talked about for quite some time now, but Mike Judge is bringing back the seminal 1990's cartoon, Beavis and Butthead. It is hard to find anyone over the age of 25 years old who didn't spend hours with this MTV show. At Comic Con 2011, a snippet of the new version was shown to audiences....
