Candice Tripp is an illustrator whose dark sense of humor is evident in everything she does. She studied fashion originally, then eventually made the switch to full-time painting. Her art is replete with masked children and cool-colored forests, the witty titles evoking mysteries and punchlines with a little bit of macabre.

Candice Tripp! She's got a new print on the way. It’s early days right now, but to illustrate the current status she explains: Black Rat Projects go “Hey, Candice, let’s do another print” and I go “Yeah, how about this?” and they go “Yeah, that would work” but really we sound more excited than that and then I go “alright cool, soon as it dries, it’s on the way” and then I get nervous excited.
