C215 "Back to Black" @ Stolenspace Gallery, London

There is no question that C215 is one of the most unique and accomplished stencil artists working today, who had dedicated himself to both getting stencils on the streets of Europe as well as developing a gallery career. "Back to Black" is C215's first show at Stolenspace in London, and our friend Butterfly shot some photos from the opening...

Nuart 2013: Street Pieces, Part 3

Street Art // Tuesday, September 10, 2013
We are still settling back in after a week in Stavanger, Norway for the 2013 edition of the Nuart Festival, and we have a few more street pieces that were completed to showcase. DALeast, Faith 47, and C215 all had works around town, with DAL and Faith having massive murals right in the heart of the city center, and C215 had both a mural and a bunch of little stencil gems littered about the town.

C215 creates large Cat Portrait in Paris

Street Art // Thursday, April 18, 2013
There is no question after seeing this giant cat portrait painted by Parisian street artist, C215, that he is a die-hard feline fan. Often working in small scale using stencils, the artist switched his medium up using a hundred cans of spray paint and 40 liters of acrylic to create this mural at a busy intersection in Paris. Even though the size of the piece is considerably larger, C215 kept to the same stencil esthetic. This may be the largest cat we have seen, but maybe a bigger one exists somewhere? Any Clues? We want to see!
