A billboard at 44th and 11 Ave in New York is currently displaying a prime and might we say delicious looking piece of sliced meat. Sorry vegetarians, skip to the next post. The bizarre billboard is the work of artist, Brion Nuda Rosch, whose all meat themed exhibition appropriately titled “Meat Form” is presently showing at The Peanut Gallery.

We have posted Brion Nuda Rosch's work in the past and were excited to stumble upon some more work from the San Francisco-based collagist. His collages combine found images that allude to various associations and parallels between the subjects at hand and their metaphorical implications.

For a long time, we have looked at Brion Nuda Rosch from a distance with admiration for some of his more simple, conceptual pieces. After seening Rosch's solo showing at Baer Ridgway in San Francisco in 2009, Rosch's work came alive, and nuances that are not so immediate on screen became so in person. More after the jump . . .
