“Sittin’ in the morning sun, I’ll be sittin’ when the evening comes. Sittin’ here resting my bones, and this loneliness won’t leave me alone.” Like Otis Redding, Brett Amory left the South and came out West, finding himself pondering, among other things, the big city and its expanse of solitude. The artwork displayed in the gallery can be observed from the street through the large gallery window - with every show, the window opens a view for passers-by into worlds of the imaginations of the international artists that exhibit within.
