Brandt Peters' Sideshow Icons

Illustration // Tuesday, March 26, 2013
Brandt Peters is a self-taught illustrator and designer whose paintings explore the eras of ancient cartoons, Victorian toys and pre-WWI vintage 'Pop' ephemera. He was raised by a family of artists and antique collectors, and his artwork shows the influence of creepy sideshow icons, deviant animalia and the "masked" glorification of cartoon alter egoes. His slick, sultry style is unmistakeably his own. Brandt lives and works in New Mexico with his two dogs, Bailey and Diego.
