Last Friday we pass by The Cotton Candy Machine Gallery in Brooklyn to take a close look of The Candy Escape, the new exhibition by two very talented artist: Camilla d’Errico and Brandi Milne. Camilla’s drawings are full with emotion, containing an innocent and passionate story to tell. Brandi's work is inspired by classic cartoons and an abundance of nostalgic child playthings.

On Saturday, August 11, Corey Helford Gallery will open Brandi Milne's newest solo exhibition, Before I Hide Away, in Culver City, California. As Corey Helford Gallery tells us, " With this body of work, Brandi steps into the rarified limelight of fineartists whose work is uniquely hers, a voice unlike any other's."

Brandi Milne is a self-taught artist who represents a successful strattling of different genres while embracing beauty and aesthetic over message or propaganda.   Born and raised near Disneyland in Anaheim, California, Brandi always had a love for creativity. Growing up, she was happily influenced by the oddities of the 1970s and 80s, vintage Halloween decorations, classic cartoons, and an abundance of nostalgic child playthings.   Brandi has an upcoming solo show, Run Rabbit Run, slated for next month at LA’s Thinkspace gallery and after seeing a few sneak peeks of her fresh work for the show, we knew we had to ask her a few questions. 20 Questions to be exact.   Read our 20 Questions with Brandi Milne and grab a look at her newest work.
