But that is for another day... we are here to tell you to go and see Cave's new exhibition at the Boston ICA. Cave is famous for his his “Soundsuits”: full-body outfits crafted from discarded objects found in antique shops and flea markets.

Resin Paintings by Jessica Dunegan

Boston-based artist Jussica Dunegan uses a mixture of epoxy resin and acrylic paint, squeezing tubes of paint directly into a layer of resin while it is still in liquid form. The opaque strands of paint remain loosely delineated and hover within the transparent resin. Once the initial layer dries she will repeat the process to give the paintings a physical dimension. The resulting piece may look realistic from afar but upon closer inspection, they are comprised of suspended, chaotic lines. Watch a video after the jump!

The gallery welcomes Woulfe back after two highly acclaimed duo shows with former studio mate Kenji Nakayama, an installation and residency at Montserrat College of Art, an exhibition at Hellion Gallery in Portland, Oregon, his largest mural projects to date, and the arrival of his first child.
