To celebrate the Beatles' 50th anniversary 50by70 has published the first ever set of fine art prints of the stunning artwork from the classic 1968 animated film Yellow Submarine. Yellow Subversion: The Artwork of Yellow Submarine is a strictly limited edition boxed set of five full colour screen prints accompanied by a book featuring an essay by the legendary Simpsons writer, showrunner and producer Josh Weinstein.

In June 2010, France-based artist, Jiem, took a trip to North America where he documented and interviewed many of the prolific artists in the moniker scene, creating a limited edition book titled “Outside The Box” of his findings. With short interviews with the Colossus of Roads, Take 5, Virginia Zeke, and more, this carefully crafted book is a great find for anyone interested in railway culture.

Todd James, cover artist of our August 2008 issue and always one of our favorites when he has a new body of work out, just opened his newest solo show, Yield To Temptation at Nanzuka Gallery in Tokyo. Coinciding with the exhibition,NYC publishing company Picture Box released a "Yield to Temptation" book that features James' drawings.

Books are a good thing. When it comes to art, there is nothing better than a good art book. Banksy, who has had a few official, and unofficial successes in the book publishing world, is set to release a new collection, Banksy: You Are an Acceptable Level of Threat, this July 2012. The 240-page hardcover collection will be published under the Carpet Bombing Culture house. And at $23, it ain't going to bankrupt you.

Los Angeles' Michael Kohn Gallery will be presenting both an exhibition and book signing of watercolor paintings by Camille Rose Garcia featured in the illustrated version of the Grimm Brothers' Snow White. (We just received a copy of the book in our office, great works). The exhibition will open on March 15, with a book signing on the same night.
