After abandoning his old life as a thug, soldier, doing police work, and even being incarcerated, Pak Nur became a self-taught public artist who made his home on the streets. As graffiti writer turned non-profit organizer, BNE states, “ While in Indonesia doing our first water project, I met a middle aged homeless artist named Pak Nur who uses his art to spread messages about corrupt politics and other social ills."

We have talked about and been pushing the BNE Water Foundation on our Twitter account over the past few months, but with the holidays upon us, we wanted to run a quick reminder on our site about what the BNE project is all about. The BNE Water Foundation is about bringing clean drinking water, with 100% of your donation directly funding actual water project costs.

While we just posted about BNE’s recent endeavors involving water, Theflopbox recently posted this photo of a BNE over Mickey screen print on metal.  These were from BNE’s one time art show in New York.

We think everyone had their doubts when international sticker/graffiti writer, BNE created a non-profit organization to provide people living in poverty with access to clean water and sanitation. It’s comforting knowing it is an actual real project, with a huge opportunity for success due to its already strong marketing presence.

You know that feeling you get when you have been fooled or gotten over on?  At first I thought Bne was pulling a fast one, I mean the pictures are bizarre, yet it is an honest and true project.  The man responsible for putting his stickers all over the globe has decided to give back to those in less fortunate positions and without water. Bne Water is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to bringing, clean, safe water and sanitation to people living in extreme poverty.  

There was a time, not long ago, that you couldn't go to any city center without seeing a flood of BNE stickers. So call us a little surprised, and a good surprised, when we read about his newest BNE Water Foundation, a "global movement dedicated to bringing clean, safe water, and sanitation to people living in extreme poverty."
