London-based painter Candice Tripp, we have mentioned her work on the site before (and she was in our Juxtapoz Turns 18 show), is set to open a new exhibition, Petit-Mal, at Black Rat Projects in London on Thursday, July 26. Right before the Olympics kick off, you can go check out some of these creepy works by the Cape Town born artist.

Brian Dettmer has recently focused on altering books into unique sculptural art objects, but he has in the past altered cassette tapes into a skeleton, and turned a typical road map into a human head. Starting on September 8, 2011, he will be showing at London's Black Rat Projects.

The annual Printmaking Today show will feature works by Swoon, Matt Small, Candice Tripp, Banksy, Damien Hirst, and a Henningham Family Press’ Chip Shop performance.
