Former Juxtapoz featured artist Bill Dunlap and Jake Watling present "With Skulls and Bones I Made a Rattle" at Paul Ulrich's gallery, Nowheresville Gallery in San Francisco, through June 1, 2014. The title of the show is borrowed from a poem by Samuel Taylor Coleridge entitled, Fire, Famine, and Slaughter.

A great group show, featuring a slew of artists that have been in the magazine in recent months (Sandow Birk, Bill Dunlap) will be part of Fresh Paint at Lazarides' Rathbone space in London. Brett Amory and Frank Laws are just a few others in the show that celebrates a new wave of contemporary painters that have been catching the eye of the Lazarides' team. Go check it.

We have profiled Bill Dunlap's work in the magazine before, but we have just come across his black painting and faces series and wanted to share with our readers. Dunlap has shown in Brooklyn, Los Angeles, and Boston this summer in various group shows, but is also known to paint a very well-constructed barn mural. He also "Can't read, can't write." And was "Raised by wolves and skunks."
