Bicycle FIlm Festival celebrates its 13th edition with more Bikes, Art, Music and, of course, Films! This year, BFF has an amazing program including a FREE show by Pace Brothers (Blonde Redhead), parties and more than 60 films. From June 26 through June 30 we are proud to present films from more than18 countries, parties, concerts and an art show.

Bicycle is a giant leporello book drawn by illustrator, art director and master in graphic conception, Ugo Gattoni, and published by Nobrow Press. The original is a 5 meter long drawing about bicycles through the streets of London. It was released earlier this yeat, just in time for the London 2012 Olympics.

Don't let the playful, retro suburban illustrations fool you, this collection of images is a matter of life or death. Here in San Francisco, riding your bike around town can be tricky with hills, motorists, and crazy people assaulting you from all angles. Wearing headphones among the chaos is not recommended. This safety manuel doesn't include that tip (probably because headphones weren't invented yet), but read the rest and take notes so you can avoid the grim fate of these unfortunate bicyclists.

One of our favorite exhibits in San Francisco this year was Kevin Cyr's Home in the Weeds at 941 Geary. It was a transformative experience, and one of the elements that was touched on was this Camper Bike, which is exactly what it sounds like it would be; a bicylce that also contains a camper shell.

Fifty-nine year-old Slawomir Weremkowicz of Biala Podlaska, Poland could have just wrapped his career up after spending years as a plumber. Instead, he created a fully-functional bicycle made completely out of wood.
