Bodega teams with Michael Leon and Barry McGee and others for new wall art

Juxtapoz // Thursday, December 16, 2010
We had wanted to feature Michael Leon's "Dicks of the World" wall art piece here, but we figured that might be a bit jarring this early in the day. Bodega has teamed up with Barry McGee, Leon, Steve Harrington, Cody Hudson, and Hisham Bharoocha for a new series of large scale, eco-friendly, temporary indoor art. Juxtapoz // Monday, November 29, 2010
We had been looking for pictures of the new Kenny Scharf mural at Houston and Bowery in Manhattan, the one that went over the Barry McGee and one-day Sacer tribute, and the good people of Curated (a great art and culture site in its own right), posted the best shots we have seen so far. So we thank them in advance on this early Monday morning. More pictures after the jump . . .

An ode to Dash Snow at Bowery and Houston

Juxtapoz // Tuesday, November 23, 2010
Cool to see that the late Dash "SACE" Snow has a tribute at the famous wall on the corner of Bowery and Houston that Deitch Projects used to rotate out with various international arists. We didn't know Dash personally, but we have friends that did, so we feel this is a nice ode to the man. Bigger picture after the jump . . .
