Barcelona-based photographer Natalia Pereira created this incredible uncomfortable series, Dismorfobina. An elastic band is wound tightly across the model's face, leaving an unexpected, and deformed, portrait as a result. 

Print: Miss Van "Virgen" for Pictures on Walls

Miss Van, who just opened a new exhibition at Copro Gallery in Santa Monica, has also released a new print with London's Pictures on Walls, Virgen, that has the print shop saying, "Wow. Well this really came out better than we expected. What’s French for ooh la-la?" The print was made in an edition of 60, signed and numbered by the Toulouse-born, Barcelona-based artist, and 5-color screenprint using fluorescent ink and graphite.

Muses by Barcelona's Conrad Roset

These playfully striped up, and stripped down illustrations are from Chamo, an artist and illustrator based out of Barcelona. He studied Fine Arts at UB (Universitat de Barcelona), Barcelona, and ENSBA (École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts) in Paris. He considers himself a drawer and photographer, but is in love with every field of the arts.  

The Work of Conrad Roset

Conrad Roset is a freelance illustrator based in Barcelona. His new muses are created with watercolor splashes and spots, more gestural to the minimal lines that we had become accustomed to. Conrad is also a graduate professor of illustration at the BAU in Barcelona. He has worked for brands like Adidas, Zara, FC Barcelona, Coca-Cola among others. Editorial Norma is currently editing a book about his work.

Maine-based muralist, Matt W. Moore, just completed a very long, 4th floor corridor mega mural at the new Vincci Bit Hotel in Barcelona. The hallway piece, about 50 meters long, took over 14 gallons of paint and 2 weeks to be completed. Mr. Moore is featured in a 12-page showcase in the upcoming April 2012 issue of Juxtapoz.
