Buenos Aryz, Argentina

Street Art // Thursday, November 29, 2012
A Juxtapoz favorite and all around skilled young painter, Aryz, has just completed a new mural in Buenos Aires for Meeting of Styles. A stylish clothed purple horse is seen riding a bike, with a top hat and pipe floating close. The artist chose wonderful colors for this particular large wall. Keep an eye out for something special with Aryz in an upcoming printed issue of Juxtapoz.

ARYZ @ Meeting of Styles, Buenos Aires

Juxtapoz // Tuesday, November 27, 2012
Here are a few shots of Aryz-in-progress painting in Argentina for the Meeting of Styles 2012 Festival. The Spanish artist is painting a mural in Buenos Aires, one of the highlights during the second edition of the International Festival. Something tells us ARYZ would tell us to hold off until he was done, but there is always merit in seeing how is in completing a piece. Stayed tuned for more information in the coming weeks of our very special collaboration with ARYZ.

Best known for his incredible street murals, Juxtapoz favorite Aryz is equally impressive on a smaller scale with his digital illustrations. The young Spanish street artist enjoys putting skeletons in strange situations, maintaining his distinctive color palette and keen eye for detail. Aryz is based in Barcelona.

Two trucks by Aryz

Street Art // Tuesday, November 13, 2012
We are not accustomed to seeing Spanish muralist, Aryz, work in any size other than large, huge, and massive. These two trucks are in none of those categories and that’s refreshing to see.

After collaborating on a wall with Os Gemeos, Aryz stuck around in Lodz, Poland for the Fundacja Urban Forms Festival and painted another wall. Different from what we are accustomed to seeing, the Spanish artist painted a still life of flowers and a vase. Wonderful choice of color on this particular wall.

Juxtapoz // Saturday, September 08, 2012
Last week we posted photos of Aryz and Os Gemeos beginning a collaborative mural in Lodz, Poland for the Urban Forms Festival. This was the first time the three artists had worked on a wall together. While they have all spent a significant amount of time painting large walls on lifts around the world, expecting something magnificent was really not far fetched.

Juxtapoz // Tuesday, August 28, 2012
If you ever find yourself traveling around Denmark, and get yourself to the island of Zealand, you will be surprised to see a mural by Spanish muralist, ARYZ, freshly painted on a brick building. As photographer Henrik Haven told us, "Before his piece for the Galore festival, the Spanish street artist traveled an hour away from Copenhagen to Næstved.. the piece is part of Næstved Youth School of Art and decoration project Næstved Art City."
