The Brooklyn Museum has announced that it will not be hosting the “Art in the Streets” show due to financial constraints. Currently showing at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, the exhibition had been scheduled at the Brooklyn Museum from March 30 through July 8, 2012. Drawing massive crowds, the exhibition has also been a topic of criticism due to the large increase in graffiti in the surrounding area.

Just after the MOCA "Art In the Streets" exhibition opened up shop in Los Angeles, Revok became a symbol of the entire show, as he was arrested at LAX for graffiti offences right after the opening. That said, we think this limited edition Levi's x MOCA Trucker from Revok will be popular.

One of the best touches of MOCA's "Art In the Streets" was the inclusion of NYC's COST & REVS, vital parts of the entire graffiti and street story. Right now through Paper Monster, COST has a new print, "COST WAS HERE," available in 3 different colorways.

One of our founders and photography editors, CR Stecyk III, played director of photography on this video, "Street, 2011," a video for MOCA documenting the Barry McGee, Todd James, Steve Powers installation in "Art In the Streets." Felipe Lima, a great filmmaker, directed the piece.

Neckface and Isaiah Seret just released a trailer for the new action-horror-ninja-super villain Neckface short film, "Born Under a Bad Sign," that was made in the artist's installation at MOCA's "Art In the Streets." From the looks of this trailer, it looks pretty well-made, considering it spoofs action-horror-ninja-super villain movies.

While we were watching the build-up on the ground at MOCA's "Art In the Streets" exhibition last month, we saw director Alex Stapleton hard at work, documenting the entire process with her film crew, all culminating in "Outside In: The Story of Art In the Streets" made in partnership with Levi's Film Workshop.
