You want to take a guess as to how these guys feel about your “street art?” Art Basel has become a place for graffiti writers to use particular murals as backgrounds.

Last day to hit the fairs in Miami Beach. Sitting on the beach with a stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean, Untitled Art Fair was another standout of the week of Art Basel. The Hole, Esopus, Monya Rowe, Loyal, Steve Turner, Parisian Laundray were just a few of the standout booths at Untitled.

We wanted to make sure we shared with you another fair before the madness of Art Basel Miami Beach 2012 comes to a close, and the Pulse Art Fair was one of the strongest of the week for us. David B Smith, Jonathan LeVine, Joshua Liner, Narwhal, Mark Moore, and LeBasse Projects were just a handful of standout booths from Pulse... even Diddy stopped in. 

Last night, we stopped by the SCOPE Art Fair, as part of the mega Art Basel tournament of art fairs. We made that up, but it rings true. Great works all around at Scope, with some of the galleries in the Asian Art section being very strong. Thinkspace, Corey Helford Gallery, Spoke Art, Ivory & Black, White Walls, and others had a great line-up... check it out. 

On Tuesday night, Juxtapoz attended the opening of the brand new Miami Project art fair, featuring a fantastic list of artists including Cooper Cole, Richard Heller, Quint Contemporary, Eric Firestone, Marx & Zavattero, Eli Ridgway, 101/Exhibit, Kopelkin and more. Here is what we saw...

Yesterday morning, Juxtapoz attended the press preview and brunch to honor the opening of the grand ol' fair, Art Basel Miami Beach, the reason why many fairs have grown around Miami during the first week of December. Housing some of the most established galleries in the world (Lisson, Gagosian, Marlborough to name a few), we tried to make our experience the same as we do each year. Just get lost in it all...
