Moving The Still: A GIF Festival

As we are finalizing our plans for the 2012 edition of Art Basel Miami Beach, we came across something we will not be missing this year. Tumblr has announced Moving the Still: A GIF Festival, curated by online art market Paddle 8. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the GIF, and it has come a long way from tricking out your MySpace page and dancing babies.

COPE2 "Rise To the Occasion" @ Art Basel

This past December 1st in the Wynwood District that was a major epicenter of activity during the Basel weekend, Cope2 opened a solo exhibition, Rise to the Occasion. NADA Art Fair @ Art Basel, Miami

We kept the buzzing pace yesterday as we headed up north to check out the NADA Art Fair, which was a fair we really looked forward to checking out. Ratio 3, The Hole, Ambach + Rice, and Creative Growth were just some of the booths we wanted to make sure we caught.
