Bill Plympton needs no introduction. He has directed ten feature films, seven of them animated, and has received two Oscar nominations for his short films Your Face and Guard Dog. Plympton went first to his audience on Kickstarter to bring to life his latest animated project, Cheatin’, which opened in Los Angeles in August.

We are going to take the advice of the filmmakers: "Turn up the volume, turn off the lights and make full screen. Allow a few minutes for film to load/buffer first before viewing so it won't play choppy. "Eager" is just a brilliant clay-mation and stop-motion creation from LA-based fine artist Allison Schulnik made in conjunction with a museum show at Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in Hartford, CT as well as a solo show at ZieherSmith NYC in early 2014.

‘Way out’, Yukai Du's MA graduation animation is inspired by ‘Alone Together’ by Sherry Turkle and a reflection of modern life in this digital age. The exaggerated contrast between emotionless citizens and characterized phones reveals our over-‐dependence on virtual communication. A dramatic and extreme consequence shows a negative attitude, for which no one can escape the trend of technology that originally comes from the endless appetence of human beings.
