We've been fans of Shabazz Palaces for a while now and they've always done a fantastic job seeking out the best talent to do their music videos. Their latest is no exception. Directed by musician, animator, and label mate Chad VanGaalen, "Forerunner Foray" (off their latest album Le Majesty) is a surreal, psychedelic animated time-travelling, pizza-surfing adventure through space.

"Brain Lapse" Hand-Drawn Animation

Boston-based artist Jake Fried is back yet again with another incredible hand-drawn animation. The "moving paintings" are made by repeatedly layering white-out, gouache, ink and coffee, with the final video showing the complete process from original sketch to finished artwork.
