Italian photographer, Andrea Galvani (the one who did the horses with balloons for heads series) just began to exhibit is new series, Higgs Ocean, a surreal and spooky series of photographs from Svalbard Islands in the Arctic Circle. The works are on display in Melancholy is Not Enough exhibition at the Pavilion Unicredit Center for Contemporary Art & Culture in Bucharest, Romania.

With so many fantastic photographers working in the world today, we did a stutter-step this morning when we saw the work of Italian photographer, Andrea Galvani. We just learned that since 2006 he has been professor of Photographic Language and History of Contemporary Photography at the Accademia Carrara di Belle Arti di Bergamo.
