Return of the Repressed: Destroy All Monsters 1973-1977, a stunning retrospective of works created by the 1970s artist collective Destroy All Monsters opened this past weekend at Prism Gallery in Los Angeles. Curated by Dan Nadel and Destroy All Monsters member Mike Kelley, this exhibit consists of a plethora of works from Niagara, Kelley, Jim Shaw, and Cary Loren--some of which have never been exhibited before.

This past weekend, we stopped by the private opening of Season In Supurbia, the latest solo exhibition (and first show in LA in over 10 years) of legendary artist, Ron English. The exhibition is currently on display at Corey Helford Gallery, and features works examining suburban life dosed with a cocktail of subversive visuals, consumer culture, and POPaganda politics.

Legendary San Francisco-based sticker and graffiti artist PEZ (featured in our December 2010 issue) and photographer Massan Fluker’s joint exhibition Snakes In The Grass opened this past weekend at Beams-T in Tokyo, Japan.
