Hamburg-based artist Max Grünfeld find inspiration in the little details of her everyday life whether it be a conversation, funny circumstance, daydreaming, people or animals. Max studied at the Art Academy ArtEZ, Netherlands and Escola Massana Art Academy in Spain. About her work she says, 'I can tell much more with illustrations in extraordinary ways than when I would have to shape the same idea/image or feeling with words.'

  Beligain-born, Amsterdam-based artist Adele Renault created this small collection of four oil on canvas works entitled Elderlies. Faces that are captured in everyday moments of life and taken out of context fascinate Adele.

In the largest presentation of this achievement ever organized—the first comprehensive survey since 1993—the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam has brought together almost 200 of the artist’s works, spanning the entirety of his 35-year career.

British artist Richard Wright has hand painted two ceilings in Amsterdam's Rijksmuseum with over 47,000 black stars. The Tuner Prize-winning artist was inspired by the original 19th century decorative wall and ceiling paintings in the museum by the original architect, Pierre Cuypers.

After years of working as a digital creative for commercial companies, Amsterdam-based SIT decided to leave commercial work behind and get back to his artistic roots. In his monochrome series 'Haiiro,' he investigates the narrative possibility of the slow burn. SIT is interested in the notion that the impetus for decision making arises not in moments of impending crisis, what he calls the 'fast moving winds of change,' but the possibility for stillness to act as catalyst.

Martine is a Dutch born and raised artist, right from the green heart of the Netherlands, now living and working in Amsterdam. Most of her works are built up from a mixture of materials-- water-based oil paint, graphite, ink on wood or canvas, but sometimes paper & pencil is just enough to bring her playful ideas to life.
