Amélie Fontaine's Strange Rituals

Illustration // Wednesday, March 20, 2013
Amelie Fontaine's illustrations are strange and beautiful, depicting scenes of ritual in some sketched-out otherworld. Fontaine studied decorative arts and graphic design in school and has illustrated for a number of books and other publications. These works of peculiar fancy detail populations of imagined igloos, sweaters and people participating in mysterious processions, and we love trying to unravel what is going on in them. Fontaine is based in France.
