Juxtapoz // Friday, September 20, 2013
This past weekend we stopped by Known Gallery for the opening reception of Thanks for Nothing, an exhibition featuring new works by Judith Supine and Alia Shawkat. You may know Mr. Supine from his incredible street works and dangling pieces off the Manhattan Bridge. You may know Miss Shawkat from this little television program called "Arrested Development." Photos and more after the jump…

Known Gallery is proud to present Thanks for Nothing, an exhibition featuring new works by American artists and former Juxtapoz featured aritsts, respectively, Judith Supine and Alia Shawkat. The show is curated by Naheed Simjee. The exhibition will unveil more than eighty original miniatures by Judith Supine alongside six large-scale paintings. Constructed on a base of lottery scratch cards and Newport cigarette boxes, the mini collages are portraits of contemporary American society.
