Bristol based artist Alexander Korzer-Robinson creates incredible works of art by carving discarded encyclopedias and literally exposing their inner beauty. By using pre-existing media as a starting point, certain boundaries are set by the material, which Robinson aims to transform.

Profiled in the magazine in the past, we love the cut-out book collages of Alexander Korzer-Robinson. He says of this work: "By using pre-existing media as a starting point, certain boundaries are set by the material, which I aim to transform through my process. Thus, an encyclopedia can become a window into an alternate world, much like lived reality becomes its alternate in remembered experience."
