This 30 foot long tapestry by London-based artist Aled Lewis tells the story of Star Wars beginning with Episode one all the way through Episode 6. The tapestry features quotes from the films written in Aurebesh and all the main characters. The hand-stiched tapestry, The Coruscant Tapestry, is currently on display at Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles.

Our May 2011 issue is about to hit newsstands, and we are pleased to announce that Los Angeles-based fine artist, Eric Yahnker, is the cover of both our newsstand and subscriber covers. After a successful solo exhibition, Cracks of Dawn, earlier this year with Ambach & Rice at Kunsthalle in LA, we sat down with the artist and talked about lifting weights and process. Aled Lewis, whom we just had a chance to connect with in the magazine, is fast-becoming one of our favorite new artists. Aled has enough wit to fill up this entire, or his entire blog, because he is in the midst of "Make Something Cool Everyday" Project, where he makes something cool everyday.
