Aesop Rock’s newest album titled “Skelethon” has a wonderfully painted cover by one of our favorite of street artists, Aryz.  Over the years Aesop Rock has chosen a range of talented folks to grace his album cover, but his has to be the best yet.  Be on the lookout for “Skelethon” coming out soon.

Our good friend, hip-hop artist and contributor to Juxtapoz, Aesop Rock, is set to release a new album, Skelethon, on July 10, 2012. For the occasion, he enlisted Spanish artist, ARYZ, to do the album's cover. See it big after the jump . . .

To this day, one of our most talked about covers was the December 2006 issue featuring Jeremy Fish as interviewed by Aesop Rock. Anytime we hear Fish's name, it brings back good energy. Fish will be opening his newest solo show, Listen and Learn, at Joshua Liner Gallery in NYC on June 21, 2011.

Aesop Rock has contributed to Juxtapoz Magazine in a few ways, mainly the cover stories on both Jeremy Fish and Tomer Hanuka, respectively (still trying to get that Chris Ware story, maybe someday). In music news, Aesop just remixed the Dirty Ghosts' newest single, "Shout It In," which is the B-side to the original "Shout It In" track. Listen after the jump . . .

This Thursday, July 31st, marks the release of the new Aesop Rock adidas Originals sneaker from Upper Playground. The Stan Smith shoe is the third release in the four-part series that also includes designs from fine artists Herbert Baglione, David Choe, and Sam Flores. Aesop Rock is an American hip-hop artist from New York that is known for his storytelling style of rap. He has collaborated with established entities such as Nike and painter Jeremy Fish on various projects, and he is excited to introduce his first sneaker design with Upper Playground.
