Juxtapoz // Thursday, October 24, 2013
The last of the 3 exhibitions we saw this past Saturday night at Jonathan LeVine Gallery in NYC was longtime Juxtapoz photography contributor and sculpture artist, Adam Wallacavage. Magic Mountain is a mixture of Wallacavage's now famed mixed media chandeliers and sculpture works, as well as the artist's first limited-edition multiple.

This past weekend we stopped by Known Gallery for “Hello Kitty, Hello Art” a one-day pop-up event. The gallery was filled with a new collection of Sanrio-inspired art featuring over 30 new paintings by graffiti artist POSE, custom chandeliers by Adam Wallacavage, a neon installation by RISK and new works by 64 Colors, AIKO, Caia Koopman, DABS MYLA, Kenton Parker, Niagara, Shepard Fairey and Simone Legno — all incorporating a rainbow of Sanrio characters.

Juxtapoz // Tuesday, December 09, 2008
In affiliation with Jonathan LeVine Gallery, Choque Cultural is having a three-person exhibition with Tara McPherson (work above) Doze Green (work below) and Jim Houser, with a special installation by Adam Wallacavage. All four of these artists are not only living legends in the world of contemporary art, but they have all gotten love in the pages of Juxtapoz, so (needless to say) we’re pretty damn excited that they will be making their collective debut in Brazil at Choque Cultural. The show opens January 17th, 2009, with all artists in attendance, and will remain on display thru February 27th, 2009. More at www.choquecultural.com.br
