'The inspiration can come from anywhere, i find beauty in most things. A lot of my work is generated from fashion imagery, but i love to create my own ideas from other areas of interest such as music, film, the natural world, past fashions, dreams and utopian worlds.' Abbey Watkins is a young illustrator, from England. She is studying in Textile Design for a Fashion degree at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Inspired largely by fashion imagery, Manchester illustrator and designer Abbey Watkins creates fantastical figural images and kaleidoscopic textile patterns. Combining pencil drawing with digital coloring techniques, Watkins' images of beautiful women with mystical curiosities or dreamlike disfigurements look almost like excepts from one of Alexander McQueen's fashion shows.

INeedAGuide put us onto the works of Abbey Watkins this morning, a really great mixture of Native American inspired illustrations and the multiplicity of personality.
