Shintaro Kago Tattoo

We recently came across this rad tattoo of a piece by Japanese manga artist Shintaro Kago. Kago's hallucinogenic illustration is perfectly suited for a piece of body art, why didn't anyone think of this sooner? The tattoo was done by Alex Feliciano at 12oz. Studios.

You know what they say, when life hands you lemons, start tattooing them. Same goes for grapefruits and oranges. Artist Ryan Jacob Smith has a great flickr set of various citrus fruits that he's practiced tattooing on. Smith is based in Portland and graduated from Pasadena's Art Center College of Design in 2001. When he isn't tattooing fruit, he also likes to draw, paint and collage.

Nikko Hurtado's incredible tattooed rendition of Cheech!! Hurtado is a tattoo artist who specializes in colored portraiture and  has been tattooing since 2002. He owns and works at Black Anchor Collective in Hesperia, California. He has appeared as a guest on LA Ink and Tattoo Wars and also released a DVD called Tattooing Portraits with Nikko Hurtado.
