Ben Rorke's Devil Head

Tattoo // Wednesday, November 28, 2012
To round out the day, we've got an awesome flaming dagger-headed devil from the talented Ben Rorke of Valley Mall Tattoo in Brisbane, Australia. We love the smooth, bold lines, warm colors, and how despite its simple design, the longer we look at this devil's face, more subtle details emerge. See more of Rorke's work on his blog.

Tattoos and Flash from Capilli Tupou

Tattoo // Wednesday, November 28, 2012
A wonderful painting from the talented Capilli Tupou of New Zealand's Sacred Tattoo. We love the bright colors and bold patterning in the butterfly wings and how that vibrance is carried through to the warm tonal gradient around this lady's eyes. It's also super interesting to see how Capilli Tupou translates this amazing affinity for patterning into solid tattoos, so we've got a gallery of 'em after the jump.

Diego Brandi's Handsome Devil

Tattoo // Wednesday, November 28, 2012
Check out this awesome Asian-inspired black devil belly piece by Neo-Traditional master Diego Brandi. From the bloodshot red eyes to the craggy disembodied hands and sinuous skin, we love how the central placement of this piece makes it seem like he's staring us down. Diego Brandi works out of Subskin Tattoo in Rome, Italy.

Davide Andreoli's Tattooed Meta-Flash

Tattoo // Wednesday, November 28, 2012
Because the only thing better than great flash is flash adorned in flash... Confused? So are we. But there's no denying that Italian tattooist Davide Andreoli's jam-packed flash sheets are just as inspiring as they are bizarre. We have a gallery of Andreoli's incredible flash--from sideshow strong men to muscular rooster hybrids, all covered from head to toe--here.

Cervena Fox is a London-based freelance model whose body of work also shows off a bounty of tattoos. Careful, some of these shots verge on NSFW territory. Freaky Flash from Job de Quay

Tattoo // Monday, November 26, 2012
You can't always judge a book by its cover, unless its assured that there's a five o'clock shadow and abnormally long underarm hair going on there. Thanks to Hexagram Tattoo and this bit of freaky flash done by Job de Quay- an Amsterdam based tattoo artist. Love.

Todd Janeczek aka Todd J., is the owner of Imperial Tattoo in Portland, Oregon. His pieces are classic, using vibrant colors, imagery and all the best things about traditional tattooing. There is no doubt that he takes his craft very seriously. Todd’s work has a classic Americana feel, and his dark sense of humor often shines through. Todd J.’s style represents a part of history and his extensive portfolio of work proves that.

Epic Ink From Tony Hundahl

Tattoo // Monday, November 26, 2012
There is nothing light and airy about the work of Tony Hundahl of Rock of Ages Tattoo. His traditionally based, bold and vibrant ink work bleeds with heavy handed strength and aggression. In these pieces in particular that we came across, there is no lack of blood, daggers, fangs and epic composition and imagery.
