To accept his 2014 Webby for Person of the Year, Banksy made this video about his Residency in New York City. Whether you loved it, hated it, felt inspired by it reminded us of why street art, graffiti, public art, whatever it is you want to call it, in whatever form you find it, do it, see it, is an important historical identifier of who we are as humans.

Daniel Muñoz, known to many as "SAN", has always had a talent for fine art and illustration, creating imaginary worlds that have made him one of the most fascinating and talented artists to emerge from Spain in recent years. He is also a very talented muralist and street artist. Recently, the Madrid-based artist completed a piece, roughly translated to "11 Figures Working In a Corner" on the small abandoned building in the town of Blanca, Murcia, Spain.

Each year when we head to Nuart in Stavanger, Norway, we always like meeting and learning about new waves of European street artists. One artist who has been at Nuart in the past is Anders "STRØK" Gjennestad, who now has an exhibition of stencil works at Stavanger's Reed Projects.

Jasper Wong has been throwing massive street art gatherings for the last five years, starting in Hong Kong, moving to Hawaii, and this year, for the first time, in Taiwan. The festival is called POW! WOW! because that's the reaction Jasper wants to see as locals witness international artists' murals unfold on their city streets. Many Juxtapoz-featured artists will be coloring and crushing the walls of Taipei...

After the Banksy x BNE charity mess-up, and we admit, we were one of the many blogs that messed it up, its nice to see the UK street artist x performance artist x filmmaker x all around provocateur is back with a few new street pieces this past weekend. Taking on the topics of surveillance and our insatiable appetite for information, we are secretly hoping Apple is proud that it appears "Mobile Lovers" using an iPhone as opposed to a Droid. Just saying.

With his solo show, "Street Anatomy," opening at Fifty24SF Gallery in San Francisco this Friday, April 18th, 2014, NYCHOS has been quite busy the past few weeks painting murals around the bay area and prepping for the exhibit. We stopped by his temporary studio to catch him as he finishes up several new paintings, get a couple pictures, and ask him a few questions!

NYCHOS, the Austrian super muralist that we have featured in our print edition and web edition many times over the years, is set to open a new solo show, "Street Anatomy," at FIFTY24SF Gallery in San Francisco on Friday, April 18th 2014. NYCHOS has been painting murals all over the city the past few weeks, and our friend James Pawlish caught him painting at the iconic Haight-Ashbury intersection. Probably a good idea for the foot traffic and the sleeping kids on the street to get a little NYCHOS in their brains...
