Brooklyn-based artist, Maya Hayuk, has been enlisted as the next artist to paint the famed wall at Houston and Bowery in New York, and she has been making swift moves dousing it in color. The wall was previous decorated by the work of Swoon before the blizzard gave graffiti writers a nice opportunity to bomb it.

Nelson Mandela memorial by Gaia in Baltimore

Painted in the Sowebo neighborhood of Baltimore, Gaia paid tribute to the late South African humanitarian and politician, Nelson Mandela. Entitled "Kurema, Kureba, Kwiga", the mural was painted for the Colour Ikamva project in Rwanda, along with Martha Cooper’s Sowebo/Soweto photography project.
