The unusual sight of 150 reproduced CCTV cameras on the side of a building in Madrid, Spain is a powerful statement. “Cameras” is a new installation by the artist SpY, whose clever work regularly challenges the way we see everyday objects, landscapes and our urban environments.

Organized by the Detroit-based gallery, Library Street Collective, “The Garage Project” has brought 23 artists from around the globe to paint a new parking garage development in the heart of downtown Detroit. One of the most recent additions was the work of Wais who came from Russia and got a choice spot on the top level of the structure.
