Last year, 2010, Raymond Masson created a public sculpture titled The Illuminated Crowd that was displayed in downtown Montreal.  65 people of all ages, race, facial expressions and conditions are depicted on four platforms, made from stratified polyester resin with polyurethane paint.

Saner And Sego in Miami

Oakland-based artist, Doodles painted this surreal mural in the summer while traveling though Decatur, Georgia.  The artists spent most of the summer wandering the country collecting rare crystals for an installation show in the future.

The title of this piece is Artifariti, which means “to express our solidarity with our brothers in occupied territories of Western Sahara." M-E-S-A was in Dajla and had a chance to paint this beautiful women near Sahrawi refugee camps.

Based on superstitious beliefs, the isolated village of Nokhur places mountain goat horns on almost every grave in an attempt to fight off evil spirits and help the soul of the deceased ensure safe passage to heaven. The Nokhuris, the mountain tribe of the region, have always considered mountain goats sacred animals, admiring their strength and endurance.

Troll Wall Restaurant

Located at the foot of the tallest vertical rock face in Europe, in Norway’s Romsdal Valley, Troll Wall Restaurant is a seasonal destination open between June and September.  Completed in April by Norwegian studio Reiulf Ramstad Architects, the structures floor is built solely from concrete and the interior walls that aren’t completely glass are made of plastered chipboard.
