We love a good surprise in our morning Inbox, and this urban text project from Madrid's BOA MISTURA done in Sao Paulo was a nice treat. The collective took the winding streets Vila Brâsilandia and transformed them into colorful transformations of place and space, adding a bit of an optical illusion in text along the way.

As stated in the press release,"When working together the work speaks of the future, reminding the viewer of our place within worldly folklore. Dream sequences of possibility, driven in self-discovery each artist is pushing life forward within mixed media offerings.  By employing native and primitive drawing aesthetics', they create a visual enema that re investigates mankind, the world's animal kingdom and universe itself.”  Sounds intriguing to us.  Go!

New Xuan Alyfe World

Here is a new dreamlike miniature world painted by Spanish artist, Xuan Alyfe.  The artist creates wonderful surreal effects while using a wide range of vibrant colors.  We are guessing this is likely waist high in height.

In the height of all the paparazzi frenzy relating to his Facebook stock, Dave Choe remains humble and continually points out that money does not by you all the crazy life experiences one can acquire for practically nothing.  After a very animated and entertaining visit with Howard Stern in the morning, Dave went down and did a little spraying with and on Barbara Walters.  What a day.

Reminiscent of throwing old kicks over wires, Skewville often throws their own custom kicks in the air to be left dangling.  Made of wood, cut out, and painted, often the wires can be tricky to throw at.    Check out this video as they run around the city of Chicago.
