Combining similar simplistic styles to collaborate on a huge new mural for the Katowice Street Art Festival, Italian artists, Tellas and Moneyless, make a good team.  The duo used monochromatic shapes and patterns with nice composition, to create a non-intrusive piece for the residents of Katowice, Poland.

Carmichael Collective is a company based in Minneapolis, Mn that creates projects for the sake of creativity, simple objective right?  Using the same idea of plant tags, used to identify and educate about a particular specimen, but using them on everyday sidewalk fixtures we are all familiar with.  Apparently from the information on these tags, all these objects are ok in varying degrees of the sun!

"Black Grapes of Wrath" by Ludo

Limited to just five, Black Grapes Of Wrath is Parisian street artist, Ludo’s newest sculpture project.  Each of the skulled grapes are laser sculpted, hand sprayed, and come with a signed certificate of authentication.  An added bonus, 50% of the money goes directly to a non-profit organization that provides skateboards and educational programming in Afghanistan, Cambodia and Pakistan.

Goodwill Street Campaign

A Canadian-based ad Agency cleverly used the simple image of eyes and hands on stickers to promote Goodwill as a destination for Halloween costumes.  Placing the stickers in creative places, the “Street Masks” showed that Goodwill is the place to “Be anything this Halloween” or “Go undercover this Halloween”.

2 New Painting from Kofie

It’s been a while since we heard new news from Los Angeles-based draftsman, Kofie.  He recently completed two new paintings for separate group shows, one is currently up at Known Gallery with a Sesame Street theme and the other will be at Crewest Gallery opening this weekend.  This new work is dense with lines, composition, and fantastic layering techniques, a refined artist in his craft.
