World globetrotting muralist, Tiki, describes his work as a comment on today’s global society and the nearly forgotten traditions of the past.  The artist uses simple imagery involving animals; design oriented shapes, and cultural references, creating easy-on-the-eyes pieces in public view.

Doodles @ Open Walls Baltimore

Doodles just sent over some process and completed photos of the wall he worked on for the Open Walls Baltimore project that is going on through the end of May.  As the artist explained, “This piece is about the Earth being healed. Healed from the wound that civilization has created through industrialized practices.  In the center of the earthen hands is a city on fire. The hands of the cosmos are extinguishing the fire/ healing the wounded earth.”

Barry McGee has become a name that any art novice or expert has come to know and respect. Any event or art exhibition tied to McGee's name is guaranteed to have art world's ears will perk up. This was absolutely the case for the show that was recently organized right here in San Francisco, titled Contemporary Arts Centre. McGee uses a very specific word to describe the exhibition and opening reception, simply a "happening."

Currently in Katowice, Poland participating in the Katowice Street Art Festival, Mark Jenkins created this Tug of War Installation on a small-perched part of the building.  This piece will likely catch the attention and baffle the minds of passing pedestrians.

Pixel Pancho & Never2501 Mural in Baltimore

South West Baltimore is now home to an impressive collaboration mural between two Italian artists, Pixel Pancho and Never2501.  The pair of artists painted two horse-looking figures facing each in their own distinct styles for this wall.

Triángulo Dorado's Installation @ Elsi del Rio Gallery

In a previous post we showed you a selection of work from Trangulo Dorado’s newest exhibition at Elsi Del Rio Gallery in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Accompanied with the show was an on-site mural and installation with a prayer based theme.  The vines on the wall make for great texture and feeling.
