Most known for organizing large-scale nude installations for photo shoots, Spencer Tunik has created over 75 human installations around the world.  His more recent project took place in Munich, Germany to mark the opening of the 2012 Munich Opera season.  The artist was interpreting scenes from the Richard Wagner opera "Der Ring des Nibelungen."

"Those who fled" by Escif

Escif dropped a new piece in Cholula, Mexico and wrote the following text adding insight to the concept behind this particular piece.  “Cholula is a name of Nahuatl origin, meaning Place of those who fled.  Cholula is famed for its churches. Legend told that there are 365 churches, one for each day of the year. So, it´s so usual meet processions of people circulating through the streets, almost any day.”

New David Ellis Mural in Brooklyn

Over the course of two weeks, a popular section known as “the triangle” lying between two streets in the Dumbo neighborhood of Brooklyn has been getting a face life by Brooklyn artist, David Ellis.  An internationally exhibited artist, who has shown at the famed Deitch Projects as well as the MOMA, is also the unofficial founder of the collaborative crew “The Barnstormers,” which contains members such as Swoon, Kami, Sasu, and Maya Hayuk.
