In part of the Whitecross Street Party that begins in a few weeks, Conor Harrington painted this new mural on the busy Whitecross Street in London.  This mural contains the artists often combined use of period costumes and contemporary flags.

New Laguna Mural in Tolosa, Spain

Laguna’s most recent mural in Tolosa, Spain was painted on a wall with surfaces ranging from brick, stucco, and rock, creating a unique look for this extraordinary piece.  The artist painted directly on all surfaces, as well as attaching cut outs of flowers and other abstract shapes directly to the wall.

Last week, we posted photos of Sheffield-based artist, Phlegm’s newest murals in Bantry, Ireland and this week a new video has been released documenting the process.  This video shows Phlegm’s technique of using a roller to shade and a brush to create the final outline, a very time consuming process.

Lisbon-based, London-residing artist, Vhils, newest solo exhibition entitled “Entropy” opened last weekend at Magda Danysz Gallery in Paris. The artist is most recognized for his walls that are chiseled and layered portraits resembling excavated artifact. Expanding his practice, his new body of work explores portraits in a variety of techniques such as carved Styrofoam and wood, acid etched metal, laser cut posters, and ink and bleach on paper.

Phlegm In Bantry, Ireland

Sheffield-based muralist, Phlegm, has been busy in the streets once again continuing to paint murals inspired by water related themes. These two newest pieces painted in West Cork, Ireland depict a salmon-submarine being navigated by the artist’s signature characters and a guy standing on top of a city that he could possibly be panning?
