Jonny Ruzzo's first solo exhibition, "Norns," deals with femininity, beauty and superficiality as well as his attraction to the female gender as a gay man. Dynamic and gritty, Ruzzo's artworks take on the idolism of the female body with a fresh and honest perspective. Not a brush stroke out of place in this series. These works were displayed at the Bunnycutlet Gallery in Williamsburg in August 2013.

Jonny Ruzzo grew up in a large town in the small state of Rhode Island, and moved out in 2008. He currently reside in New York City, where he work as an artist, illustrator, and graphic designer. 'My work deals with superficiality, sexuality, gender, and social views. I use bright colors and shiny, metallic materials because they are beautiful. I ask myself a lot of questions, and painting is my attempt at an answer.' he states

Born in 1990, Jonny Ruzzo currently resides in New York City, where he works as an artist, illustrator, and graphic designer. His art touches upon conceptions of superficiality, sexuality, gender, and social views, and for his first solo exhibition, "Norns," Ruzzo tackled his own perceptions of femininity and beauty, as well as his own attraction to the female gender as a gay man. His work has received recognition from publications such as American Illustration, Society of Illustrators, and 3x3 Magazine, and in 2013 he was listed as one of CMYK Magazine's Top 100 New Creatives.
