Loïc Locatelli Kournwsky is a French illustrator and comic artist that signed his first comics under the pseudonym "Reynard the Fox." He also works as a storyboard artist for advertising, and works within the Arbitrary workshop in Lyon. Kournwsky defines himself as neo-preppy rock. Ray-ban sunglasses, gray skinny jeans and boots type chelsea for low waisted shirt and little jacket top, denotes elegance with the vulgarity of cartoonists lambda.

Cachetejack are Nuria Bellver and Raquel Fanjul, a Spanish illustration duo based in London. Their illustration universe is full of colors, energy, humour and irony. The hand drawn work of Cachetejack takes a fresh and unique style working in a variety of mediums, including—but not limited to—books, magazines, newspapers, clothing, drawing, painting, walls and illustration. Cachetejack combines reality with a cool point of view to create situations and environments closer to the viewer.

Italian artist Marco Mazzoni and British painter Lindsey Carr both have an exhibition at Roq La Rue Gallery in Los Angles open now through November 30th, 2013. Marco Mazzoni creates beautifully disturbing drawings, dreamlike snapshots of faces flooded in an incandescent light as if in an overexposed photograph, and encircled by sumptuous flora and fauna. Lindsey Carr’s exquisite watercolor and gouache paintings evoke the specter of Audubon if he had spent time in a Chinese opium den.

Tran Nguyen is a Georgia-based artist. Born in Vietnam and raised in the States, she received a BFA in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design. She is fascinated with creating visuals that can be used as a psycho-therapeutic support vehicle, exploring the mind's dreamscape. Her paintings are created with a soft, delicate quality using colored pencil and thin glazes of diluted acrylic on paper. She is currently represented by Richard Solomon and Thinkspace Gallery.
