Natalia Fabia

Juxtapoz // Sunday, December 04, 2005
Natalia Fabia is a Los Angeles based artist who paints bawdy women, bitchy teenagers, punk rock dudes and all-around depictions of low life and high times with oil and collage. She was one of about 40 artists who participated in Instant Gratification/Wet Paint 3 this past weekend in San Francisco; a 12-hour painting marathon held simultaneously at White Walls and Shooting Gallery. Pictures from the paint-a-thon will be up here later today. In the meantime, check Natalia's site and don't miss this page devoted to what she loves.

Kelly Lynn Jones

Juxtapoz // Wednesday, December 07, 2005
L.A.-based artist Kelly Lynn Jones, besides being a wicked cool artist on the flat surfaces, has launched a clothing line called Augustine with her friend Mitzi Guidry (whose credits include children's shoe design and being the founder of LA indie labels Junior League and Haute Gams.) Kelly just had one of her prints go up for sale and sell out super fast over on Tiny Showcase this week. Do not fret, there are a bunch of good things for sale on her arty commerce site Little Paper Planes where she sells her artwork plus that of her happenin' art friends like Alika Cooper, Marci Washington, Deth P. Sun, Evah Fan, Brendan Monroe, Rachell Sumpter and others.
