We are preparing you for the end of days. Well, okay that is harsh, and a little melodramatic considering this is all for fun and games. Mike Shine, the man who has transformed the Outside Lands Music & Art Festival into a performance art piece, will be opening Flotsam's Harvest at 941 Geary on March 16, 2013. Each week leading up to the show, Flotsam will be taking over the Internet, producing chapters, poems, riddles, all leading up to the Harvest.

After ROA placed one of our favorite street pieces of the year (do we rank things like this now?) in Chicago, the Belgian artist, although we assume he hasn't seen his own bed in years, is back in San Francisco for an installation and exhibition at 941 Geary. Dominant Species is his latest body of work created directly after his road trip from the East to the West of America.

This Saturday, June 16, Canlove will be opening a solo show at 941 Geary in San Francisco, titled No Can Left Behind. Canlove is an LA-based Graffiti Recycling Organization founded and managed by creative partners DJ Neff and Paul Ramire, who aspire to transform every discarded spray can into its own work of art, and this show will be the first large scale installation of the artist collaborative.

We saw the German duo, Herakut, prepare their installation room at Nuart 2011, and they created a completely unique universe that had both flat and 3D elements that really created a profound experience. Tonight, April 21 in San Francisco's 941 Geary space, Herakut will be opening a new exhibition, Loving the Exiled. Here is a preview. . .

One of our favorite exhibits in San Francisco this year was Kevin Cyr's Home in the Weeds at 941 Geary. It was a transformative experience, and one of the elements that was touched on was this Camper Bike, which is exactly what it sounds like it would be; a bicylce that also contains a camper shell.
