Earlier this year, Juxtapoz took a trip to Tucson, Arizona to document a number of international artists painting massive disused Military airplanes and cockpits for a project entitled The Boneyard Project. A variation of eclectic styles adorned each piece of aviation and an opening reception displaying the planes was held at the Pima Art and Space Museum. ROA’s plane was painted alone much after all the events and everyone had left, surely a tranquil desert experience for the artist. His time spent working on the strange canvas was documented in the following new video by filmmaker, Jason Wawro.
