10,000 balloon sculpture by Jason Hackenwerth

New York-based artist, Jason Hackenwerth, who uses balloons as his primary medium, recently created a 40-foot tall sculpture constructed of 40,000 balloons in just 6 days for the National Museum of Scotland. The piece is entitled “Pisces” is a complex spiral that opens into a seashell form and inspired by a double helix in which the artist says “It is the spiral in which all life is derived.”
