Three nude women by Borondo in Blanca, Spain

September 17, 2013

We first heard of Borondo when the artist painted old family portraits directly on to haystacks. It was one of the stranger choices in canvases we have seen. Now, the Spanish painter has created the following mural painted in a traditional painterly style of three nude women. Apparently, all three women are wearing the same handkerchiefs as a cultural representation bringing together Catholics, Muslims and the nonreligious.Blanca has a long culturally divided history, opposed to the present, where all cultures co-exist peacefully with one another now. Beautifully executed for the size.
