Bansky has done a remarkable job at grabbing the attention of everyone whether positive or negative. Publicists dream of such a client, but he has no need for them. Last week, Stephen Colbert of “The Colbert Report’ dedicated an entire section of his show hilariously provoking Banksy to create a custom piece on the wall outside of his studio in New York. A few days later, a bear with Colbert’s face on it (Stephen Colbear) appeared. The work was obviously not painted by Banksy, but instead Hanksy, a street artist who makes pun-influenced street art around New York. Colbert dedicated another segment of his show to the new “art” on his walls and it’s more than entertaining.
