International design giants Foster + Partners and local architects Berg Arkitektkontor have been underway designing the waterfront region between the Baltic Sea and Lake Mälaren in Stockholm. The waterfront will hopefully create an efficient transportation hub and generate new bus, train, and metro connections. Included among the plans will be new bike and pedestrian paths. The envisioned designs look like a surreal theme park.
