European muralists, Remed and 3ttman, were commissioned by the Spanish Embassy of Sarajevo to create a piece for a future reconstructed Vijecnica, which is a historical building purpose-built as the city hall. In 1992, the building was hit by bombs, heavy artillery, and was burned during the Siege of Sarajevo. The two artists worked with the ideas of hope, unity, peace, and love based on the history of Sarayevo’s people.
