Juxtapoz’s good friend and our March 2012 Cover artist, Andrew Schoultz, sent over photographs of a new mural completed over the course of seven days in Toronto, Canada. Schoultz is in Toronto for a two-person exhibition with artist Richard Coleman that opens this Friday June 1st, 2012 at Cooper Cole Gallery. The artist tells us that the location of the mural is the recording studio of Grammy Award winning producer and musician, Daniel Lanois. Local photographer, Adam Vollick, was there to document the process and produced a stop motion video of every minute of the process set to release later this year. This mural project was organized by Simon Cole of Cooper Cole Gallery and was funded by the city of Toronto.
